Steve Merling

Steve Merling has been a member on the Technion Canada Board of Directors since 2012. He is an alternate member of the Technion Board of Governors. He holds a degree from McGill University in Psychology and the Social Studies of Medicine. He is Co-Founder and CEO of The Eventure Group Inc., a Montreal-based firm specializing in the conceptualization, creation and management of special events. In the last six years, his involvement in the production of major fundraisers has raised millions of dollars for an array of worthy foundations, including Cedar’s Cancer Institute, the Jewish General Hospital, McGill University Health Centre, the Miriam Foundation and the Starlight Foundation – to name but a few. He has also worked with an impressive selection of major corporate clients including Bell, Ben & Jerry’s, Blinds To Go, Ericsson, Automobili Lamborghini, Mattel, Pfizer, Sun Life and the National Hockey League, as we have been involved in the production of several of the NHL’s All-Star Weekend 2009 in Montreal, 2012 in Ottawa, 2015 in Nashville 2018 in Tamps and 2019 in San Jose. Steve’s volunteer experience is significant. Currently he sits on the boards of the Dawson College Foundation, Technion Canada and is also a volunteer paramedic/first-responder with the City of Cote Saint Luc’s Department of Emergency Medical Services.
