As the National Executive Director & Chief Development Officer for Technion Canada, Rachel Jacobs is a driving force behind the organization’s philanthropic vision. A dynamic non-profit leader, Rachel brings extensive expertise in major gift fundraising, strategic national partnerships, and impact-driven programming across health and education sectors. She has led teams responsible for securing significant annual revenues, stewarding complex donor relationships, and translating cutting-edge research and innovation into compelling philanthropic opportunities.

Passionate about the intersection of science and society, she believes deeply in the power of research and how philanthropy can accelerate breakthroughs in health, sustainability, and technology. Rachel, along with her team, is excited to champion the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology as a vital architect of the future for both Israel and the world, ensuring that today’s scientific breakthroughs become tomorrow’s global solutions.

Outside of work, Rachel is committed to mentorship and education. She serves as a guest lecturer on non-profit impact at the University of Toronto and volunteers her time to support women’s empowerment initiatives. As an engaged mother of two, she is deeply invested in building a better future for the next generation.
