COVID-19 EMERGENCY FUND TO SUPPORT STUDENTS
The Technion has taken unprecedented steps to maintain its educational imperative while ensuring the health and safety of its students, faculty and staff. Courses are being delivered online in order to prevent disruption for students, particularly those in their final year of studies.
While ongoing education is important, the most critical priority is student welfare. The COVID-19 pandemic is creating personal crises that must be addressed urgently. Students’ incomes have suddenly disappeared as workplaces have shut down. Many are having trouble coping and require additional psychological support. This is especially true for new immigrants who have come to Israel alone and lack a supportive social network and for students whose family members have become ill with the coronavirus.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
The COVID-19 EMERGENCY FUND TO SUPPORT TECHNION STUDENTS will provide Technion students with the support they need to carry on with their studies and maintain as much normalcy as possible during this challenging and uncertain time.
You can help to provide funding for:
- Psychological support
- Emergency funds for students with special financial problems
- Distance learning
- Unexpected operational expenses that the Technion is incurring at this time
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
