Alon Wolf

Professor Alon Wolf is founder and director of the Technion Biorobotics and Biomechanics Lab, and was Vice President for External Relations and Resource Development.

His lab is best known for creating robotic snakes for urban rescue. As cofounder of MedRobotics, he helped invent a medical snake for minimally invasive procedures on organs that are hard to reach.

Prof. Wolf heads the Israeli Olympic Sports Research Center, a Technion collaboration with Israel’s Olympic Committee, and FIRST Robotics Israel. He received all three degrees from the Technion, conducted postdoctoral work at Carnegie Mellon University, and joined the Technion in 2006. He has also worked in industry for Elbit, Ltd. and Eilon Engineering.
