Vivianne Abramovici

Vivianne Abramovici was born in Romania and graduated from the Technion with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 1980. Vivianne met her husband of 43 years at the Technion.

After graduation, she served as a Civil Engineer in the Israeli Army and worked as an Aircraft stress engineer in IAI (Israeli Aircraft Industries).

She has 30+ years career experience in the aerospace field, working for companies like Spar Aerospace and Bombardier. Vivianne is also a professor at Centennial College, in the Mechanical Engineering Department.

Vivianne currently serves on Technion Canada’s Board of Directors and is a member of the Canadian Technion Alumni Association.  She is a great supporter of Israel and the Technion and believes that promoting the Technion will ensure not just the continued growth and success of this exceptional institution, but also contribute to Israel’s development, security and overall success.
